Fifth generation of flagship studio monitors
KRK has unveiled a new line of its flagship V-series studio monitors.
Fifth generation devices have received new wireless control functions based on KRK Mesh technology: now monitors can be controlled remotely from a smartphone via the KRK Control application. According to the manufacturer, these models set “a new standard for performance, innovation and sound accuracy – qualities with which the KRK brand is associated.”
The lineup included three models: a V4 with a four-inch woofer, a V6 with a 6.5-inch woofer, and a V8 with an eight-inch woofer. All are equipped with proprietary Kevlar speakers and are enclosed in cast aluminum cases to minimize distortion.

The Nashville-based company, part of the Gibson Corporation, first announced the V (V Series Five) series back in January. KRK’s V series studio monitors were first released in 1997.
